Hey there! I’m Shana, the heart and soul behind Home & Country Mercantile. I’m a wife, a mum of two, and I call Central West NSW home. 🏡

The name "Home & Country Mercantile" reflects my dream of country living and my love for a simpler, more grounded lifestyle. It’s also inspired by my experiences and my aspiration to become a half-decent homesteader—even while renting!

Like many of you, I yearned for a more fulfilling life. I saw a need in my town for a space where like-minded folks could find quality products and a bit of inspiration. While my brick-and-mortar dream is on hold, I’m thrilled to start this journey online and build a vibrant community with you. 🌾🎶

My passion for simpler living is deeply rooted in my cherished days at my grandparents’ home in Eastwood. Climbing the Jacaranda tree, picking mulberries with my Pa, tinkering in his shed, and making damper on a stick over his handmade brick BBQ are memories that fuel my passion. 🌳🍇🔥
